Dr. Frank Batson

Nashville chiropractor, Dr. Frank Batson

Simply put, I was a skeptic!

I was 18 years old and on Christmas break of my freshman year at David Lipscomb University... I was doing what I had always done in summers and breaks, working construction for my father's business, Frank Batson Homes.

On a particular day, I happened to be shoveling gravel in the crawlspace of one of the foundations when all of the sudden, I fell to my knees, I couldn't move and had to be carried to the truck. For 2 days my mom tried to get me to go to the Chiropractor, but I was stubborn. Instead, I rested at home and tried to "walk it off". Finally, I asked for the number and made my appointment. Immediately after my first visit there was some relief and within 2 weeks I was 80% better. Being raised not to rush to the doctor or medicine cabinet every time a symptom was present, but rather taking a holistic approach to health with common sense and giving your body what it needs to heal like vitamins, I was very intrigued by this non-traditional approach to health.    ...read more

Dr. Frank Asks some important questions of interest to Nashville residents - Chiropractor Nashville Dr. Frank Asks...

How do most people deal with subluxations?
First, they try to ignore them. When they don't, they go to the medicine cabinet to stop their brain from feeling the symptom. Later, back surgery may be threatened. Sadly, it's not until this later stage that they consult our Nashville chiropractic office. Yet, even with the delay, most are delighted by the results produced by today's chiropractic care. Contact us and let's get started.
What's the purpose of a surgeon's mask?
When I ask most people in Nashville this, most think it protects the patient from the doctor's germs. But it's so porous it does little to prevent the passage of germs. We chiropractors don't bother with masks.
