Biography of Dr. Lance E. McClure
Dr. McClure was born and raised in Bakersfield, CA in 1956. After graduating from Bakersfield High School in 1975, he joined the Army as a UH-1H Helicopter crew-chief. After 2 ½ years he was promoted to Sergeant (E5). He served for a total of 3 years active 3 years reserve. After leaving then he moved to Los Angels where he continued his education at Whittier College receiving a BS degree before entering Chiropractic College at Los Angles College of Chiropractic. While a student at LACC he was also editor for the college newspaper, Student body president and student liaison to LACC Board of Directors. He graduated in April 1984 and moved to Denver CO.
While there he was co-owner of 7 Chiropractic Clinics in the Denver and Colorado Springs area with a total of 25 doctors and 65 support staff. He opened his own clinic in 1990 and practiced in Denver for the next 7 years. He moved to Dickson, TN in MAY of 1997 and has been practicing there since. Dr. McClure has been an advocate for nutrition since he first started practicing. He has continually strived to bring the best and newest nutritional information to his practice and patients.
He has a specialty degree in IHS, Internal Health Specialist. He provides nutritional consults based on blood tests, and body stress points. He wrote a training manual to teach other doctors how to read blood tests based on health not disease. He is currently finishing his Acupuncture degree in order to bring another aspect of health to the clinic and patients. Dr. McClure’s philosophy is he treats his patients as he would want to be treated. He has over 15 different adjusting techniques; soft tissue trigger point therapy and range of motion stretching are added to his adjusting technique and specializes in Migraine headaches with special cranial manipulations.
Dr. McClure has 3 boys, 2 of which attend college at this time and an English Bulldog. He enjoys hiking, car shows and restoring mustangs as well as driving them on the road courses. He believes that the mustang is the only car, everything else just has four wheels.
