Myokinesthetic Technique

Myokinesthetic Technique is a technique that emphasizes clearing out impingements in the Peripheral Nervous System (PNS) which will impact the Central Nervous System (CNS).  First we treat and clear the unbalanced memory of every muscle along the nerve pathway that was determined to be the cause.

Next we re-educate the opposing muscles, flexors and extensors, along this pathway to restore full range of motion. This technique does not treat an “area”, it treats every muscle along one nerve pathway to increase movement, decrease pain, and balance posture. For instance, every patient that I’ve treated with carpal tunnel, almost always has a corresponding problem in their infrspinatus muscle.

While most doctors may not think to treat this muscle, because it is along the same nerve pathway, it must be treated to get lasting results. The exciting thing is that this technique is different for every patient depending on their nervous system problem.
